The last few weeks have been concentrated on a large drawing of a decaying tulip, number 6 in an ongoing series. This is the first in colour (using coloured pencils), the others are all graphite. The folds and twists suggest forms beyond a flower – internal organs or strange creatures.

Thanks Sue – it’s six years old now, but I’m still quite fond of this one, and still love dying flowers!
